MOOR MARKET

Sheffield

2017

/

We got given the opportunity to work with the Moor Market to create a pop up Christmas box stall. We were put into groups of four to five people and we had a week to create a design for the box and present in front of the client at the end of the week. My group unfortunately didn't win but I wanted to help still so I joined the winning team.

The pop up stall was designed  for children and parents to visit in December to create Christmas crafts in the workshops run every Saturday afternoon. These crafts included making paper chains, baubles and ribbon Christmas wishes.

Our idea was to make the box look like a Christmas present with a bow wrapped around the external walls. Inside the box we wanted to create an interactive colouring wall at the back so kids could colour it in each week. On each side of the interior we had clip fairy lights so they could be used to hang work up to dry.
