For this project we were asked to design a hostel setting with a specific protagonist user leading the project. The building we had to redesign was 92 Arundel Street, Street Food Chef. My protagonist is a older millennial aged 30 years old male street artist. He is visiting Sheffield for the night as he jumps from city to city to contribute to the street art scene. I looked into sleeping pods in the shapes of spray cans originally but then developed them. I had a look at what my protagonist needs other than somewhere to sleep so I looked at storage for equipment and a wall to test spray paint.
